I made some simple planter boxes for a client from some of her decking scrap. These are pressure treated 2×8 lumber with balluster scraps for the corner blocking. Fasten with nails and deck screws, and you’re set!
The art of making sawhorses is one of the foundations of the carpenter’s trade. In this video I urinate on the rich tradition and demonstrate how I make a great fast and dirty sawhorse that if foldable, light, and either free or very cheap.
